INGREDIENTS
------------

1 cup plain flower
1/2 cup S/R flour
as much cocoa as you want chocolate flavour.
as much ground ginger as you want ginger flavour.
some dates, chopped into whatever sized date chunks you prefer.
some sultanas.
somewhere between one and two cups of coconut, dessicated.
rolled oats. somewhere around, half a cup, or a cup.
about 200 grams of butter. or margarine. or "I can't believe its not butter" *gasp* *faint*
golden syrup. or treacle. approximately four tablespoons.

1 1/2 cups strawberry icing mixture.
two teaspoonsish of ground ginger.
two tablespoons of cocoa.
about eight teaspoons of chocolate nesquik or other drinking chocolate varieties.
about hmm. 30 g of butter-type substance.
more golden syrup.


1. put the flours, the cocoa, the ginger, the coconut, and the rolled oats in a bowl.
2. stir them up.
3. add the dates and sultanas.
4. mix it up some more.
5. put the golden syrup and the butter in a bowl. a microwave proof bowl preferably. or a saucepan.
6. melt them. if you are lucky enough to possess a microwave proof bowl and a microwave. use the microwave. if you have a stove and a saucepan. use the stove. do not put a saucepan in your microwave. if you do not have a stove or a microwave. try breathing. or a hairdryer. or maybe an engine. a campfire would suffice nicely, perhaps a barbecue.
7. put the melted lard and condensed sugar into the floury stuff.
8. mix it good.
9. put it into whatever tin you desire. or make it into bizarre shapes. or eat it. do whatever you want with it.
10. if you want to cake the mixture. put it in a moderate oven for twenty five minutes.
or....you could use a microwave....or a barbecue...or a campfire....etc etc.

11) ICING. make it. using those ingredients in the second stanza of the ingredient poem. practise your improvisation, comrades, for you shall need that skill when the revolution comes.

hint: sometimes icing is tasty ON the baked good. extra coconut never goes astray. EVER. remember that when you are searching for minions. coconut based ones are ALWAYS more loyal.
